ETSU Quillen College of Medicine invites board-certified/board-eligible Internists to join an existing team of physicians on our inpatient hospitalist team located at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, TN. Holston Valley Medical Center is a level-3 trauma center with an open ICU. ETSU Health hospitalists observe a traditional 7-on-7-off schedule.

Key responsibilities of an outpatient internal medicine physician include:

• Diagnosing, treating, and managing hospitalized patients

• Mentoring and teaching medical students and residents while on their inpatient rotations

• Conducting lectures, case discussions, and hands-on clinical training for trainees.

• Contributing to the advancement of knowledge in the field of internal medicine.

• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine.

• Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of practice.
