In addition to Lexington's main campus, we have a satellite campus at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas.

The CoSW is seeking applicants for an Academic Advisor Senior position. This position is designed to encompass the direct academic advising functions provided to students across all programs offered within our college and throughout various stages of our students' academic career.

Student engagement coordination will be required in order to create a supportive and inclusive environment for students throughout their academic journey and career track. Research and implementation of initiatives focusing on targeted outreach, improvement, and enrollment will be developed by this position. These functions will provide information and data to help guide and promote leadership among academic advisors.

The ideal candidate will be well versed in advising and/or counseling in a higher education setting. They will also possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Advising and/or counseling skills are necessary. Excellent listening, good communication skills and attention to detail.

Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No Preferred Education/Experience

Master's degree and 4 years of student advising or relevant experience preferred.
