Position Title Academic Advisor Job Duties

The Academic Advisor will position provide academic advising, career and occupational planning and retention services to present and potential students.

Campus Locations Andover Nature of Position Part Time; # hours per week - 28 If Part Time, list Working Hours Tuesday-Friday 9am-5pm Salary (Commensurate with education and experience) Commensurate with education and experience. Required knowledge and skills

A. Strong interpersonal communication skills.

B. Knowledge of needs of diverse student population.

C. Organizational skills and ability to keep track of detailed information.

D. Ability to use computer to access student records.

E. Ability to work as a team member to assist in the efficient operation of the entire division

F. Strong knowledge base in career and occupational information.

Required experience

Previous experience in advising, teaching or related area preferred.

Required educational background

Bachelor's degree required. Prefer background in student services or related field.
