PURPOSE OF POSITION: Embody the harmonious, discerning and modern mindset of the AC Hotels by Marriott brand by greeting and registering guests and providing prompt and courteous service.
1.Check guests in and out of room.
2.Able to provide accurate and appropriate information to guests and customers.
3.Input and retrieve information routinely from computer systems with electronic and numerical codes. Make appropriate selection of rooms based on guests needs.
4.Respond to guest requests and handle guest issues or report complaints to management.
5.Remain calm and alert, especially during emergency and/or heavy hotel activity.
6.Promptly answer telephone in a professional and clear manner. Input all information into computers to communicate guest requests and complaints.
7.Effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy to defuse anger, collect accurate information and resolve conflicts.
8.Answer guest questions regarding area or hotel, outlet information and services.
9.Greet and welcome guest as they arrive to the hotel.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.
1.Ability to stand and move throughout the front office and continuously perform essential job functions.
2.Ability to read, listen, and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
3.Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
4.Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
5.High school diploma or equivalent required
