ABA Clinical Supervisor

Overview

The Clinical Supervisor oversees all Applied Behavioral Analytic aspects of the Sarah Dooley Center for Autism. Responsibilities encompass conducting fidelity checks, providing training, supervising the behavioral treatment team, implementing interventions, and evaluating staff. Collaboration with other services at St. Joseph's Villa and advocacy in the community for clients are integral to the role, ensuring services meet ethical standards and align with the organization's mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and trains program staff, including BCBAs, Interventionists, SLPs, and RBTs.

• Collaborates with the program director on supervision, evaluation, training, and hiring decisions.

• Participates in staff meetings, community meetings, and program activities.

• Designs and supervises appropriate interventions for individuals served.

• Manages weekly treatment teams and clinical meetings, providing recommendations.

• Develops behavior/treatment plans and objectives.

• Analyzes and documents behavioral patterns and needs.

• Meets with families and agencies to advise on progress and techniques.

• Participates in IEP meetings and supports IEP implementation.

• Conducts in-service trainings on behavior management/interventions.

• Prepares statistical and evaluative reports.

Qualifications

• Licensed Behavior Analyst in the state of Virginia (BCBA, LBA).

• Proficient in behavior analytic principles with direct experience supervising behavior analytic staff and teams.

• Three years of relevant experience working with the target population and one year in a supervisory role.
