Who We Serve

Pacific Clinic's School Based Intervention Team (SBIT) serves children, adolescents, families, adults, and educators across California. We offer a wide range of tiered mental and behavioral health services focusing on partnering with local county offices of education and school districts.

About our Program:

Pacific Clinics' School Based Intervention Teams (SBIT) provide tiered behavioral health services across various locations (e.g., school sites, community, and via telehealth). SBIT services are delivered within a Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), with a focus on Positive Behavioral Intervention Supports (PBIS), Wellness Center implementation, Social Emotional Learning, Restorative Practices, various evidence-based practices to support Community School efforts.

JOB SUMMARY

Works within the agency and program's vision, mission and philosophy, and policies in partnership with the ABA Program Manager and ABA Clinical Supervisor. Responsible for supporting behavior technicians to meet performance goals and ensure consistency in service provision expectations (e.g., documentation, supervision, program policies & procedures, etc), programming (effective treatment, treatment fidelity), and outcomes across all services. Under direct supervision from the ABA Clinical Supervisor, provides coaching and leads the clinical team in implementing behavioral and developmental treatments for individuals with developmental and behavioral health challenges. Responsible for providing training/shadowing for ABA Behavior Technicians, completing skills assessments in collaboration with supervisor (ESDM, ABLLS, BDI, Functional Behavior Assessments, etc), writing progress reports, attending IFSP/IEP meetings, and ensuring that clients receive high quality culturally and developmentally appropriate services in our neurodevelopmental center.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Clinical

1.Under direct supervision, design and submit comprehensive treatment plans (e.g., skill acquisition plans, and Behavior Intervention Plans) for clients that are culturally relevant, family-focused, and socially significant, that are in compliance with agency and payor timelines.

2.Under direct supervision, conduct behavior assessments, developmental assessments, and Functional Behavior Assessments for consumers. Report results to clinical team members.

3.Provide direct intervention (group and individual), as well as necessary coverage for ABA Behavior Technicians.

4.May provide support in schools, Model direct interventions for educators in classroom settings, provide coaching and instruction, collect fidelity data.

5.Assist clinical team with staff trainings.

6.Provide parent and group support during overlaps and teach/model effective ABA interventions. Conduct and/or participate in progress meetings with client treatment teams (e.g., caregivers, school staff) as required by payors.

7.Proactively identify potential conflicts; lead parties to consensus and develop same skill in direct reports.

8.Attend IFSP/IEP meetings as appropriate to share pertinent behavioral data, progress, and recommendations.

9.Ensure effective coordination of services for youth and families with other providers, both internal and external, by supporting the development of constructive relationships and problem-solving barriers.

Administrative



  1. Under direct supervision of the ABA Clinical Supervisor, provide oversight and management of ABA behavior technicians. Assist program manager with performance management (e.g., data collection, fidelity, completion of time sheet, documentation, etc) of ABA Behavior Technicians.

  2. Coordinate with Administrative team to maintain schedule for client caseload and ABA Behavior Technicians ensure compliance with treatment plan recommendation for weekly/monthly service hours.

  3. Monitor staff billable productivity and other revenue related activities meet or exceed revenue forecasts.

  4. Ensure clinical documentation and quality assurance meets both agency and payor standards, ensuring audit ready charts and continuous quality improvement.

1.May drive to appointments with clients and their families or other key contacts.

2.Physical interactions with children of variable ages such as but not limited to games, sports, and other activities.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in behavioral Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field required; and at least two (2) years in a behavioral health/ABA clinical role

  • Strong skills in the implementation of ABA programs

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's Degree and/or BCBA-eligible preferred

  • Bilingual

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must remain physically fit enough to keep clients self-safe. While performing these duties the employee is required to perform the following physical tasks when the need arises:

If employed at a Neurodevelopment Services location, employee is required to perform and pass a Human Performance Evaluation Test at a designated company clinic. This will include testing for: lifting, pushing/pulling, repetitive coupling, static weight, and other required movements. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Current First Aid/CPR Certification.

DRIVING PRIVILEGES

Required to drive agency vehicle. Must have clean MVR, appropriate insurance coverage, and attend agency driver training.

TRAINING

Needs to successfully complete all required agency training indicated for this position. Training will be provided for physical management interventions.
