VIEW JOBS 9/22/2018 12:00:00 AM 2018-12-21T00:00 Job Description: Role Summary/Purpose: We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the identification, development, launch, support, and maintenance of various B2B Point of Sale products within the CareCredit portfolio. The ideal candidate will be adept at quickly understanding a variety of technologies, possess a strong project management background with a focus on digital products, software development project management experience, experience in using Agile software development framework as a product owner, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget. This role will report to the VP Product Technology and Channel Management. Essential Responsibilities: * Oversee and lead the wing-to-wing product development cycle including requirements, design, build, test, launch, metrics, and maintenance. * Execute on the product and channel strategy and deliver project objectives for the CareCredit business including, but not limited to, CareCredit Provider Center, CareCredit Direct, Integrated Hosted Platform, PDM site, Contact Center and web services. * Coordinate and lead user acceptance testing (UAT) for B2B product platform projects. * Troubleshoot and resolve product and channel issues. * Partner with cross-functional teams on requests including new features and/or B2B product feature launches. * Collaborate with Payment Solutions and Retail Card peers and key Compliance, Credit, IT and Legal stakeholders to leverage platform best practices for future enhancements. * Communicate and present B2B product updates to stakeholders at all levels of the CareCredit business. * Support enterprise-wide initiatives that impact B2B products and channels. * Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned Qualifications/Requirements: * Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years' experience in a financial services industry * 3+ years of project leadership experience implementing project and product deliverables * Strong technical acumen, proficiency in writing requirements/stories * Proficiency with Microsoft Office products * Track record of creative thinking and problem solving: ability to own a project with minimal direction and meet product deliverables * Cross-functional and customer facing experience * Position can be located at multiple Synchrony Financial sites with 15% travel required Desired Qualifications: * Experience with Agile software development framework, acting in the Product Owner role * Experience in credit card / promotional financing environment * Excellent written and verbal business presentation and communication skills * Demonstrated strategic, analytical and problem-solving skills * Project management certification * Experience working with external consultants on product ideation and project management * Familiarity with current CareCredit B2B products and channels * Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills * Global mindset, willing to leverage best practices regardless of source Eligibility Requirements: * You must be 18 years or older * You must have a high school diploma or equivalent * You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the selection process * You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act. * Effective 1-1-18, new hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 24 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must have at least a "consistently meets expectations" performance rating and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance requirement).
