AAA Northern New England is seeking applicants for full-time Tow Truck Drivers.

This position requires a strong commitment to customer service, with a desire to assist and help others. This exciting career opportunity provides on-the job and classroom training to equip Drivers to handle a variety of road-side service problems, while working a set work schedule, with no overnights. You should have a basic mechanical aptitude with a desire to enhance knowledge, while providing legendary service to AAA members.

  • High school diploma/G.E.D. preferred

  • Any combination of education/experience that supports qualifications

  • Valid driver's license with favorable driving record.

  • Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, kneel crouch/crawl. Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Card.

  • Successful participation in post-offer and annual background check and quarterly random drug/alcohol testing.

VIEW JOBS 8/19/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-11-17T00:00 <p>We are looking for a District Manager to manage a multi-unit area of Convenience Stores /Gas Stations.</p><p>The District Manager will have the overall responsibility for overseeing the people, processes and operations of the gas station /convenience store locations in that area.<br></p><p><br></p><p>The District Manager drives day-to-day operations of all locations by training, coaching and supporting managers, plans and sets goals; focuses on in-store problem solving and station improvement; sets standards; recognizes and motivates station employees. Will provide leadership and counsel to store management with a focus on building the long-term success of the company and implementing the company’s policies, procedures and desire to provide outstanding customer satisfaction. Leads the way by working with an operational focus and ensures that correct environmental procedures are followed at all times. </p><p>The District Manager is accountable for the hiring and training of managers and assistant managers and does not compromise in creating and maintaining a safe environment for employees and customers. </p><p><br></p><p><i><strong>Some of the areas the District manager will be responsible for are, but not limited to:</strong></i></p><p>Operational Execution</p><p>Time Management</p><p>Multi-unit Management </p><p>Communication </p><p>Image </p><p>Merchandising and Promotion Execution</p><p>Personnel Management and Labor Productivity</p><p>Recruiting, Interviewing, Hiring and Training </p><p>Budget Analysis, Planning and Compliance </p><p>Loss Prevention and Safety</p><p>Environmental Compliance and Inspections </p><p>Directly supervising individual Store Managers<br></p><p>Heavy emphasis on food service - to increase sales and constantly monitoring food service standards and safety</p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><strong>Minimum Requirements</strong></p><ul><li><em><strong>5+ years of C-Store management experience</strong>, <strong>substantial knowledge of Gasoline Station and C-Store operations</strong>, this position requires an experienced retail manager who is results driven, and has substantial breadth of knowledge of C-Store Retail Management operations to include retail practices, procedures and personnel policies</em></li></ul><ul> <li>Excellent communication skills, conflict resolution skills and strong interpersonal skills to motivate others to successfully implement company initiatives</li> <li>Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical/decision-making skills</li> <li>Basic computer literacy and proficient in Microsoft office</li> <li>Experience with P&amp;L’s, budgeting and the ability to work with local authorities is a plus, but will train the right person</li> <li>Ability to recruit, interview, hire and train a motivated team</li> <li>Proven strong work ethic, ability to drive customer satisfaction, financial performance and employee satisfaction.</li> <li>Valid driver's license and clean driving record</li> <li>Able to handle a large amount of drive time.
