Pratt & Whitney, a recognized leading producer of the world's most advanced commercial and military turbine engines, is seeking talented engineers to join our organization within Pratt & Whitney's Project Engineering discipline during the summer of 2019. Intern level project engineers will be valuable members of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) for Compression Systems Engineering (CSE) made up of design, structures, product modeling and systems analysts. The intern level project engineer will be tasked with supporting part manufacturing, delivery, engine assembly and testing efforts for the A320neo PIP (Performance Improvement Package) HPC (High Pressure Compressor). The A320neo PIP High Pressure Compressor is in the early development phase with plans to enter production in 2021.

Level of responsibility includes:
Work with the HPC rotating Hardware IPTs to define Engine test objectives and hardware requirements.
Become familiar with the Hardware configuration, manufacturing, quality and instrumentation requirements.
Provide status on manufacturing, engine assembly and testing. Ensure component validation test objectives are satisfied. Document results.
