The Applications Services Integrator (ASI) delivers full life-cycle systems integration and engineering services to meet the missions of its customers. ASI technical services modernize mission systems and segments to provide enhanced information technology capabilities to users worldwide.

The ASI Analytic Services project has the need for an experienced systems integrator to define mission capabilities and services to meet customer objectives. Reporting to the Analytic Services Project Lead, the Systems Integrator is accountable for end-to-end systems engineering and integration, engineering documentation, customer engagement, project management and enterprise coordination.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assess current and future technology, and ensures the Project captures innovative tradecraft, lessons learned, and best practices

  • Perform technical systems analysis of alternatives (AoA) and recommendations on NSG Enterprise services implementation and operations, leveraging industry best practices

  • Provide SE&I and Analysis to implement customer vision to replace aging legacy interfaces with an Open System, Service-Oriented Architecture

  • Analyze user needs to develop IT solutions, designing/implementing processes, new/customized capabilities/services for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency, applying principles and techniques of system management processes, engineering analysis, and IT development methodologies as appropriate

  • Ensure sufficient product definition/spec, AoAs and business workflows and coordinate closely with developers to ensure proper implementation and V&V of specs, functionality and performance

  • Participate in technical exchange meetings (TEMs) for managing project execution and resolving enterprise issues

  • Participate the development of engineering products, such as CONOPS, architecture analyses, Requests for Change (RFCs), and transition plans

Required Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI Clearance (with current SSBI favorably adjudicated within the last 5 years)

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering / CS / Math / Science / or related technical experience

  • 6 years of experience in systems engineering, systems analysis, intelligence analysis or systems integration

  • Ability to translate mission and system roadmap elements into deployment objectives that ensures requisite capabilities and services are available to meet mission and user needs

  • Demonstrated ability to perform requirements definition, analysis, and prioritization

  • Experience using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to solve complex problems

  • Self-starter and able to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities

  • Strong interpersonal, problem solving, organizational and multi-tasking skills

  • Experience in using software to present analytic results

  • Experience with NGA or its IC partners

  • Ability to identify technology gaps in capabilities and processes

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently (self-managing) & within a team environment

  • Experience facilitating technical exchange meetings and client engagements, to include deep dive working sessions to solve complex problems

  • Strong analysis, quality assessment, oral & written communications skills

  • Ability to explain technical issues clearly/accurately to technical/non-technical audiences

Desired Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree or certification in a technical field

  • Demonstrated experience with Activity Based Intelligence, analytic modeling, and data analytics

  • Demonstrated experience in engineering GEOINT collection and tasking processes

  • Demonstrated experience in cloud technology with emphasis on distributed performance

  • Demonstrated knowledge of the NSG programs to include both legacy systems, as well as key concepts for future vision architecture (e.g., Cloud hosting, platform-as-a-service, and other IC ITE initiatives) and services (e.g., RTM, NCL, eXploit, and NGA Portfolio Initiatives)

  • Demonstrated ability to establish effective customer relationships with senior level government personnel; ability to work independently and within a team environment

Some projects may include analytic modeling for tipping and queuing additional collection of focus areas in support of the Hard Target Programs, helping analysts develop strategies for data-centric research methods, and automating existing workflows through modeling and scripting. In addition to the base Statement of Work, these services, include but are not limited to: * Apply multidisciplinary mathematical and statistical models via programming language to large datasets to extract patterns, relationships and anticipatory behavioral likelihoods that may not be apparent using traditional single discipline means. * Enable customer satisfaction and answer intelligence questions by using knowledge of advanced analytic methodologies, and experience in implementing and executing methodologies. * Provide support to exploitation, intelligence analysis, and product development to include statistical and trend analysis, data manipulation and format conversion, data collection / querying from various systems, data formatting for visualization and presentation, and database design and data entry form development. * Interact with analysts, mission partners and other contractors on analytical functionality and exploitation and related support tools. * Support the assessment of new analytical tools and necessary standards to facilitate compatibility and greater efficiencies across the tools sets utilized by AOS analysts. * Work with minimal guidance and be fully capable of meeting most analytic methodology services without direction. * Government and /or contractor personnel may still perform quality control and quality assurance checks on their work, but should not find significant errors. * Collaborate with Government and contractor personnel in NGA and the IC in the performance of services. Such collaboration should provide accurate technical information that contributes to synergized analysis that is better than the sum of the individual parts. * Regularly provide division and/or office level support. * Apply mathematical techniques to solve complex problems and develop quantitative based assessments. * Apply scientifically based approaches to help solve complex problems and issues to include: statistical data analysis, knowledge discovery, and mathematical modeling. * Provide database consultation, graphical data visualizations, and recommendations for quantitative data selection and collection. * Work rapidly in a high tempo, high-stress environment that often requires multi-tasking Requirements * ACTIVE TS/SCI * Proficiency and at least 11 years' experience with facilitation, business process improvement, critical thinking, deductive logic, analytic modeling, geographic information systems and research design. * Extensive knowledge of Intelligence or defense analysis processes (e.g., targeting, collection, processing, exploitation, dissemination). Must have experience using quantitative and qualitative techniques to solve complex problems using analytic tools and techniques such as GIS, quantitative methods and data visualization, modeling, systems analysis, comparative analysis, and database development. * Ability to learn an intelligence problem's essential elements of information, identify sub-processes and dependencies, locate process dysfunction, develop alternative processes or analysis, share expertise with analysts and document approaches and methods for GEOINT analysis. * Cl Training in applied mathematics including statistics and mathematical support to provide temporal and pattern analysis, correlation of events, probability analysis, assessments of sampling, analysis of variance and error, and regression testing and analysis. * Programming skills in languages for modeling processes, repeatability, efficiency, knowledge capture, hypothesis testing and process automation. * Familiarity with the US Intelligence Community specifically GEOINT collection and exploitation. * Experience collaborating with all national and service intelligence agencies/centers * Familiarity with the GEOINT Community and associated TPED products.
