Job Description Job Description Looking for individuals that are able to work in a community oriented, team based Police Department where your voice and ideas are heard. Excellent communication skills, ability to multi-task and work on emergency situations are major job requirements.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office is preferred Qualified Applicants must: 18 years of age or older have high school degree or G.E.D. pass extensive background and medical check pass comprehensive computerized testing be willing to work shift work, including nights, weekends, holidays and some overtime Benefits: 10 Paid Holidays 8 Personal and 5 Sick Days per year Comp time up to 40 hours immediately renewable when used Earned vacation time up to 5 weeks IMRF Pension Excellent Health benefits Paid Training Top pay after 5 years No residency restrictions Lateral transfers: Those with prior experience welcomed to apply.
