The National Solutions Group at Leidos currently has multiple openings for Mission Planner and Schedulers to support a client's requirements in a challenging, dynamic setting located in the Northern Virginia area. The position requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance and is contingent upon program award.
The Mission Planner and Scheduler will interface with multiple mission planning elements to ensure mission requirements are incorporated in the short term, mid-term and long-term mission plans and operational schedules. The Mission Planner and Scheduler will work in a highly collaborative environment with teammates, key stakeholders and the Government customer to ensure mission continuity and support to the IC community.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Plays a part of a team responsible for ingesting, analyzing, clarifying, and understanding requirements levied upon national systems.
Coordinates activities that leads to the production of timelines and schedules that influence or direct mission operations, tasking, and tuning of mission assets.
Supports multiple systems and platforms and invokes defined and stringent processes to ensure mission success.
Supports requirements management, mission planning and optimization, and performance analysis.
Coordinates with internal and external entities to develop and implement optimized strategies that leverage system capabilities while minimizing the impacts of system constraints.
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below
BS degree and 4 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 6 years of prior relevant experience.
TS/SCI with Polygraph is required
Experience in collection management, mission management, or operational environments
Knowledge of processes and tools designed to ingest schedules and activities
Ability to recognize problems and errors, provide innovative solutions to complex problems, and react appropriately
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment

Ability to analyze the development of strategies and processes across multiple systems that ensure activities are created in a manner that optimizes resource usage and achieves mission objectives
