Leidos is actively interviewing for a Program Analyst/Information Manager to support our team at MacDill, AFB.

JOB SUMMARY:

The contractor shall support the MARCENT G5 in information management. The contractor serves as a source of continuity and expertise and facilitates the required coordination between staff sections and action officers associated with the development and management of G-5 internal and external information requirements. The contractor will focus primary effort on drafting, updating, collating, and tracking G-5 information requirements associated with command systems, re-occurring reports, administrative actions and task management.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure currency of data on several command networks/portals

  • Execute document transfers

  • Track tasks in Marine Action Request Tracker (MART)/Task Tracker

  • Update the G-5 Division Chief Read Book

  • Manage the Calendar to ensure currency of data: Temporary Assigned Duty (TAD)/Travel, Leave, Conferences/Events, etc.

  • Update e-mail distribution lists

  • Collate monthly inputs to Defense Readiness Reporting System Marine Corps (DRRS-MC) reporting requirements

  • Collate Command Chronology inputs

  • Assist with Travel Claims

  • Draft Automated Message Handling System (AMHS) messages

  • Assist in the development and reconciliation of the Directorate Budget

  • Track Awards submissions

  • Update the FITREP/Evaluation Matrix

  • Track required Appointment Letters

  • Update Recall Rosters/Cards

  • Track fiscal training requirements

  • Track and updating internal /external points of contact lists

Qualifications:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant government / military experience

  • Active Secret clearance

  • Current U.S. Passport

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in an information management billet

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 2013 products

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3 years' experience in an information management billet at a Combatant Command, Component Command, or Service Headquarters

Key Activities for the Sr Associate IS Prog Analyst: * Work as a full stack developer within the Data and Search Platforms team that uses several Data, Search & AWS technologies * Design, develop, and maintain crawlers and document processing/enrichment pipelines that create search indexes using data from structured and unstructured data sources * Design, develop, and provide implementation of compelling data visualizations, dashboards, tools, and utilities using Open Source technologies (Java/J2EE, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, D3, etc.) in support of search-based applications * Collaborate with business partners and business analysts to translate business requirements into technical requirements * Assist with estimating level of effort and hours required for each phase of a project * Code and perform unit and integration testing of software to ensure proper and efficient execution and adherence to business and technical requirements * Write technical documentation to support the platforms and maintain knowledge repository using confluence for the technical implementations and capabilities of the platforms * Continually improve/enhance platform capabilities and work on the platform backlog * Ensure projects and deliverables are completed on time and within budget * Provide Run/DevOps support for search platforms and applications * Research and evaluate technical solutions including various open source and proprietary search platforms, NLP and ML Libraries, graph databases, and web based search user interface tools * Prepare and maintain communication materials like roadmaps, position papers, presentations, demos and socialize the materials with our business clients and partner IS services * Deliver results in an environment consisting of diverse global and matrixed partners; including non-dedicated resources * Effectively manage relationships with internal business partners, service partners, and vendors * International and Domestic travel, up to 10% Basic Qualifications Master's degree OR Bachelor's degree and 2 years of Information Systems experience OR Associate degree and 6 years of Information Systems experience OR High school diploma / GED and 8 years of Information Systems experience Preferred Qualifications * 2+ years of experience working on search platforms and web-application development * Experience with Solr or Elasticsearch. Experience designing and developing large-scale Search Engine components.
