PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The Enterprise Systems group (BES) oversees the strategic vision and implementation plan for IT systems and solutions for the enterprise at Leidos Biomedical Research, the operational information and data systems support to Frederick National Laboratory for Cancer Research.

KEY ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Enterprise Systems group is looking for Junior SharePoint Developer to work in a team to implement workflows and create dashboards within MS SharePoint and other workflow frameworks to automate business processes and procedures.

  • Create custom SharePoint Dashboards, Content Sites, Workflows using External Content Types, Data Connections, Excel & Excel Services, SQL Server Reporting Services, MS Access.

  • Create custom SharePoint forms, web parts, timer jobs, templates and PowerShell scripts for SharePoint

  • Gather requirements, design, implement, and create workflows in SharePoint

  • Develop site concepts, interface design, and architecture of the SharePoint sites.

  • Provide back end support (storage, service accounts) and IIS administration and configuration.

  • Develop SharePoint ribbon, custom lists, sites, subsites, and document libraries (understanding of taxonomy and SharePoint Best Practices is vital).

Qualifications:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:

This is a dual level requisition. It may be filled at either a Level I or Level II

For the Level I position:

  • Possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university according to the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. (Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education). Foreign degrees must be evaluated for U.S. equivalency

  • No experience necessary

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance

For the Level II position:

  • Possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university according to the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. (Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education). Foreign degrees must be evaluated for U.S. equivalency

  • In addition to the educational requirements, a minimum of two (2) years of experience creating Dashboards using External Content Types, Data Connections, Excel Services, Performance Point and SQL Server Reporting Services in SharePoint 2016

  • Experience creating custom lists, features, web parts, event handlers, workflows, and master pages

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance
