Job DescriptionJoin the Army National Guard as a Nodal Network Systems Operator-Maintainer and you will make sure that the lines of communication are always open for the world's finest military. After your training, you will be able to install, operate, maintain, and repair strategic and tactical nodal systems. As a Nodal Network Systems Operator-Maintainer, you will also use computers and software tools to perform system/network operations; interpret system and equipment error codes to correct system faults; install, operate, maintain, perform maintenance and unit-level maintenance on all internal communications systems and COMSEC devices; and execute the installation, operation, PMCS, and field-level maintenance on numerous network management systems.

And as your skills increase, so will your responsibilities. Advanced Nodal Network Systems Operator-Maintainers provide guidance on technical issues; troubleshoot complex system faults; and supervise or correct failures to meet system availability and reliability standards.

The skills learned as a Nodal Network Systems Operator-Maintainer can easily be transferred to the civilian workforce where you'll be able to work as a network support technician, data processing technician, or computer programmer in just about any company that uses computers.

Job training for a Nodal Network Systems Operator-Maintainer position requires 10 weeks of Basic Training, where you learn basic Soldiering skills. Advanced Individual Training (AIT) consists of 39 weeks of training. Part of this time is spent in a classroom and part in the field under simulated combat conditions.

Requires military enlistment. Applicants must meet minimum qualifications. Actual MOS assignment may depend on MOS availability. Benefits subject to change.

We are looking for a highly motivated operator to work in our silica production department on 1st shift (3.30am-12:00pm). The successful candidate will be working as part of an operations team, synthesizing chemically modified silica particles. Role & Responsibilities: * Silica Manufacturing - Coordinates workload to meet production schedule. Prepares bonded silica for the column loading group and ensures production has the materials needed on schedule and in an efficient and organized manner. Sets up chemical reactions in addition to other chemical processes and material handling. Maintains documentation and historical records. * Troubleshooting/Special Processes - Assists in improvement projects and works directly with technical group to assist with troubleshooting efforts. * Teamwork - Leads by example through demonstration of standards of business conduct, good work ethic and respectful communication skills. Participates, cooperates and contributes as part of a team. Serves as a change agent who actively supports management programs and encourages new idea generation. Escalates any issues requiring management attention. * Flexibility: Ability to work on a variety of processes, learn new procedures and new skills, adjust rapidly and effectively to change. Requirements: * We are looking for a candidate who has experience in industrial chemical/mechanical operations. * Min 5 years manufacturing/production experience * Must be comfortable working with bulk chemicals * Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. * Basic computer skills * Demonstrated ability to bend, reach, stoop and remain standing for extended periods of time (up to 6-8 hours per day). * Ability to pass a 7 year background check. Desired Experience: * Experience with setting up and monitoring chemical processes. * Experience with chemical reactors and associated equipment. * Experience handling and disposing of hazardous chemicals safely. * Familiar with reading control charts and understands when charts require escalation to management/engineering.
