Supports the sales function through policy setting and administrative coordination. Develops, implements, communicates and administers sales incentive programs, plans, policies and quotas. Maintains or audits information needed to track revenue. Prepares the distribution of accounts to the Sales Representatives and updates the automated tracking system. Analyzes sales performance results, and prepares reports, presentations and recommendations for sales and/or finance management. Provides clerical/administrative support to a sales office or centralized sales function. Processes data and generates routine reports regarding sales results, sales force earnings, and market conditions. Maintains office records, calendars and travel itineraries. Answers questions about the organization's products and/or services. May assist in customer service functions. Operates a personal computer and appropriate software packages or its equivalent. May adapt procedures, processes, tools, equipment and techniques to meet the more complex requirements of the position.
The SMB Wireline Sales Assistant position will be an integral part of the sales team assisting with new business growth. They will assist the SMB Wireline BDMs with activities related to acquisition of new logo accounts within the Wireline segment that have low/no market penetration. In addition, they will enable their SMB Wireline BDMs to become more efficient, freeing up time to be in front of prospects/customers in a selling capacity. The Sprint Wireline organizational focus is primarily sales of converged network solutions.
The SMB Wireline Sales Assistant will assist with lead generation of prospective customers by leading activities that will include but may not be limited to the following.
Creation of targeted contact lists by Market that will be used for marketing and prospecting
Research and pull contact information for designated titles base on solutions that we are targeting
Administrate the account assignment in Sprint's CRM tool.
Work in conjunction with the Area Sales Directors to create customer presentations and proposal templates that can be used as best practices to make the teams more efficient regarding administrative time.
Assist Area Sales Director as a liaison to other internal cross functional teams such as Marketing, Product, Customer Service, Implementation, and Technical Support to assist in the achievement of business objectives for the Wireline organization.

One year experience operating a computer in a Windows based environment
One-year experience in solutions/applications selling
One-year oral, written and presentation skills
Knowledge and understanding of CRM and Lead Generation tools
Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
