The Whitestone Group Inc. is an industry leading security company providing services to the U.S. Government with an international presence. The company is currently seeking to hire candidates for a federal contract located at (6) different sites in New York, NY. Some sites operate 24/7.
Duties include protecting and monitoring personnel/property, access control, Magnetometer operation, x-ray machine, hand-held metal detectors, security patrols, writing reports and performing other duties as directed.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
SKILLS AND TRAINING:
NYS Security Guard license
At least 21 years of age
Must be a US Citizen
Able to pass a physical exam/drug screen.
Must pass Federal government security screening module
Speak and be literate in English to the extent of writing, reading and understanding printed regulations, orders, instructions, etc.
Ability to meet and greet general public and maintain poise and self-control under stress.
