These positions welcome students who areinterested in gaining meaningful experience within the financial servicesindustry while expanding their knowledge and involvement in the clearing andsettlement business. Our Summer Interns have the opportunity to makecontributions within their business areas while simultaneously learning fromexperts currently working within the field.

DTCC'sRisk department is committed tobeing at the leading edge of risk management practices across ourindustry. The Risk office is comprised of 4 main areas Credit, Marketand Liquidity Risk, Technology Risk, Operations Risk and Systemic Risk.

Internsworking in the Quantitative Risk department may participate in the followingactivities:

  • Helpdevelop models

  • Adhoc analysis

  • Implementcode

  • Programmingskills (R, SQL)

Forthe Quantitative Risk internships in the JerseyCity office, we are looking for students who are pursuing their Master'sdegree.

Forthe Quantitative Risk internships in the Dallasoffice, we are looking for students who are pursuing their Bachelor's (orMaster's) degree.

At this time DTCC is not consideringcandidates who are on student visas for this position.

GeneralJob Requirements:

Our intern responsibilitiesvary by business area, however, some general requirement s across all businessareas includes:

  • Strongproblem solving and analytical skills

  • Goodwritten & oral communication skills

  • Motivatedself-starter

  • Abilityto grasp new concepts

  • Proficientcomputer and technical skills (Particularly with Microsoft Office Suite)

  • Abilityto work within a team environment

  • Stronginterest in the financial services industry, with previous internshipexperience a strong plus.

Global Payment Strategy . Global Payment Strategy (GPS) is a strategic multi-year investment program via which J.P. Morgan Treasury Services (TS) is transforming both its TS Payment Services and the infrastructure via which these services are delivered. New capabilities being developed through the GPS Program include but are not limited to: * New and innovative payment methods (U.S. Faster Payments for example) * Establishment of a new global low cost network for clearing and settling * Close integration of the payment offering with liquidity and account services to enable truly innovative Treasury Management solutions * Client advanced service analytics, configuration and exception management services on a self-service basis * Enhancement and globalization of existing capabilities and service levels The GPS Operations Team has responsibility for leading execution of this strategic program.
