Northrop Grumman is seeking a Technical Intern to join the Mission Systems Intern program. This position will be located in or around Charlottesville, Virginia.

The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman's Hardware Engineering Team and will work in a dynamic people-focused environment where he/she will interact with user, customers and other developers.

As an intern, you will participate in a summer internship program that develop competencies in a variety of Engineering specializations

Basic Qualifications:

Be enrolled full time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university AND graduating after August 2019.

Be majoring in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Applied/Engineering Physics, or Microelectronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other related MS strategic degree.

Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the document to your application or profile.)

Be available to work full time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during the summer 2019.

Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. Citizenship is a pre-requisite).

Preferred Qualifications:

Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.7/4.0 or higher

Previous internship/co-op experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional / community / extracurricular)

Self-motivated, willing to learn, and interested in working in a team environment
