Caritas Legal Services is the legal aid program of Catholic Charities, Archdiocese of San Antonio. The Caritas program was established in 2003 and provides legal aid to low-income and immigrant families as well as those who are victims of crime, domestic violence and human trafficking.

Caritas provides low cost legal representation for individuals and families who cannot afford private attorneys. Our services are either free of charge or are extremely discounted and are determined by a sliding scale fee schedule, which is dependent on client income.

Participants are offered legal information, and if necessary, referrals to legal aid or to other attorneys who may work on a sliding scale or payment plan.

Immigration Services - through education and direct service, the Immigration Services works toward the just and humane treatment of all immigrants by helping them to achieve the full benefits available to them under immigration law.
