Under direction of the AVID Coordinator (SFUSD credentialed teacher/counselor), the tutor will work and guide small groups of students and grade the AVID students' notebooks. Duties and

Responsibilities:

Tutor small groups in specific subject matter areas using Socratic questioning, writing to learn, the writing process, and cooperative learning. Grade student binders. Serve as positive role model, valuing education and its benefits.

Participate in meetings and in-service training programs as assigned. Knowledge and Abilities: Knowledge of:

The writing process Note taking and study strategies Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, and the Sciences Correct English usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and vocabulary Oral and written communication skills Interpersonal relations skills using tact, patience, and courtesy Ability to: Tutor small groups Understand and follow oral and written instructions Communicate effectively with students and adults both orally and in writing Establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, instructional staff, parents, and others connected to the course work Work confidentially and with discretion

Minimum Qualifications:
Some college preferred but will give consideration to high school students enrolled in upper level classes. In addition to your job application, applicants must submit a current class schedule (school-issued transcript/schedule), resume, letter of intention and 2 work references. Applications without these materials WILL NOT be considered.Non high school student applicants must pass background check administered by SFUSD and provide a negative TB test results.Note:In order to be considered for this position you must be enrolled at least part-time in college.

We believe Success is Simply Human. Position Overview The VP Engineering will be tasked with leading the SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting and Onboarding engineering portfolio. This individual will face an array of challenges from a variety of engineering disciplines. As such, this individual is expected to be an avid learner, well versed in the latest cloud technologies and have delivered successful Recruiting and Onboarding cloud products at scale. This individual will be responsible for a large team and revenue stream and must be capable of recruiting, leading, inspiring and mentoring high-performing engineers and leaders located in US, Germany and India. RESPONSIBILITIES * Promote a culture of high-performance Agile software engineering, continuous improvement and obsession with customer satisfaction. * Drive accountability for delivering on commitments. * Recruit, mentor and motivate world-class engineers, architects and engineering leaders. * Lead both operational and strategic engineering topics. * Bring new Recruiting and Onboarding products to market at scale. * Partner with regional account teams to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction. * Contribute to customer escalation management, investment priorities and engineering process improvements.
