Role Summary

  • The Brand and Communications Specialist is responsible for several important brand and communications areas, including brand-to-brand relationships, brand-to-influential personality relationships, and reaching desired audiences through experiential activations

  • This position reports to and works with the Sr. Manager, Communications and Experience to create a proactive agenda and annual narrative aimed at raising the brand's visibility to external audiences and core constituents, including UHNWI and HNWI groups, media, employees, prospects, consumers and dealers

  • The role will achieve these goals by developing strong relationships with representatives of events, influentials, and other brands.

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop brand experiential activation, such as creative programming for the Monterey Car Week, V Foundation sponsorship, and other brand consumer events, and co-sponsored events. This person will support media programming, as needed

  • Assist strategy development for brand-to-brand relationships and lead the day-to-day effort to identify and work with brands that can offer greater reach to audience groups than Bentley can do alone. This person will work to develop these relationships based on a well-developed rationale for brand-to-brand tie ups. This person will have responsibility for developing the rationale and the plan to leverage the relationship across the PESO model (Paid, Earned, Shared, and Owned)

  • Manage and maintain all Americas sponsorship opportunities. He or she will work to identify brand appropriate events and functions, assess ROI, and make recommendations to the MarCom leadership team, including assessing all inbound requests for Bentley support or sponsorship

  • Support the brand's Communications efforts tied to senior executive appearances, such as interviews, speeches, thought leadership panel discussions, and other public forums

  • Collaborate with all MarCom colleagues and with the Global Marketing and Communications teams to develop communications strategies that enhance the brand reputation through the advertising, marketing, experiential events, and vehicle and luxury services launch/introduction events

  • Identify influential personalities who reach our desired audiences and recommend how to reach and create a relationship with these personalities. UNHWI brand reputation management.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree Required, preferably in Communications, Journalism, or an associated area, or work experience demonstrating command the relevant

  • Master's Degree preferred

  • Minimum 6 years professional experience, preferably in a Sales, Marketing, or a commercial role

  • Preferred Automotive Industry experience, not essential

  • Social Media acumen, strong story-telling and ability to recognize and/or develop innovative ideas; deep understanding of social technologies and practices

  • Demonstrated passion for Luxury business and/or Bentley brand

  • Events strategy, execution, project management

  • Experience in Luxury, Automotive or Technology companies (desired)

  • Ability to travel, 35% to 50% of annual schedule, including occasionally over weekends.
