You are primarily responsible for increasing revenue in assigned regions/territories/districts through identifying, recruiting, and developing opportunity for generating direct sales or partnerships with resellers. * Meet and exceed assigned sales targets by closing new accounts and growing revenues in existing customer installations * Identify prospects for ExtraHop products through cold calls, and lead follow-up and face-to-face meetings * Call on senior executives to understand the business, decision-making, and financing processes of your territory * Present and demonstrate ExtraHop products to customers * Provide customer and competitor feedback and field intelligence where available and necessary * Prepare and implement strategic sales account plans for all customers and identify business growth opportunities in assigned customer base * Ensure resellers and field sales engineers and management are working together in the sales process, lead generation, registering opportunities, accurately forecasting revenue, and tracking to required revenue goals established by their discount tier * Work with resellers to grow business in your territory * Prepare and maintain an accurate sales forecast for your territory * Network in customer and related organizations Required Qualifications and Experience * Four-year degree or equivalent in a related discipline (e.g., information technology, computer science, business, or engineering) * Five years' experience in technology sales with a consistent track record of exceeding sales targets * Three years' security sales experience * Demonstrated technical acumen to articulate ExtraHop's value proposition in a differentiated and compelling manner * Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills * Proven history of sales success in network/application management or related IT infrastructured solutions * Demonstrated ability to secure meetings and close deals with senior level executives * Solid understanding of enterprise networking technologies: switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, WAN optimization technologies, and so forth is a plus * Strong independent work ethic and experience working in startup culture * Existing senior level relationships at a wide range of enterprise accounts in your assigned territory * Background in software/hardware sales and distribution with large software, hardware, and/or networking companies * Ability to travel About ExtraHop At ExtraHop, we create great products because we give talented employees the freedom to be intellectually curious and creative. SUMMARY The Regional Director, Strategic Initiatives (RDSI) is responsible for account, relationship and business development with BioScrip's regional customers in order to achieve or exceed planned new start, census, and Gross Profit goals for BioScrip's Core therapies. The successful candidate will focus on driving BioScrip market share with network hospital systems, multi-region care provider networks, regional payors, and large physician groups through C level relationships. The RDSI will regularly coordinate with National Payor account team, Specialty Sales, and local Account Executives and Clinical Liaisons. This person is a professional who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment where their commitment to driving revenue growth and market share gain will have a direct and immediate impact on the bottom line of the company. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation. * Develops comprehensive and detailed sales territory plans by strategic customer market and product in order to meet regional revenue and profitability objectives. * Identifies and develops relationships with C-Suite level personnel in order to understand and advance the accounts strategic goals * Conducts detailed sales analysis, including account identification, account penetration, and opportunity prioritization in order to maximize selling efforts. * Creates account strategy and resource plans necessary to successfully obtain strategic opportunities and accounts. * Forecasts monthly and annual revenue and new patient starts by customer and therapy type via Salesforce.com. * Maintains opportunity pipeline sufficient to achieve regional revenue targets. * Coordinates and aligns with local, regional, national and specialty sales efforts in order to capture pull through revenue from National Payor relationships, effectively execute on strategic initiatives, maximize market penetration and accelerate market share growth. * Positions BioScrip home infusion services and products with executive level contacts at large referral source systems. * Identifies and pursues strategic partnerships opportunities with patient referral sources. * Drives revenue growth and market share gain with Core infusion therapies. * Communicates customer feedback, strategic opportunities, competitive intelligence, and market changes or trends to sales leadership. * Leverages sales marketing collateral, market share reports, customer census, billing data, and historical revenue and opportunity information prioritize regional sales approach. * Interacts with regional branch resources (Pharmacy, Intake, Reimbursement, Nursing, etc.) to ensure quality of service for strategic accounts. * Each employee is responsible for adhering to those performance programs, policies, procedures, guidelines and internal control standards established to guide the operation of the Company. Training will take place at the Southeast Regional Offices in Kennesaw, GA with additional hands-on training at nearby Airgas locations. Airgas will provide relocation assistance, to accommodate housing during the training period, as well as, for the transition to your final work location, after the training program has been completed. You must be willing to live in the Bowling Green, KY area during the entire 6 months training program. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Learn the business and develop sales skills (50%) * Maintains focus on safety in the workplace by complying with company safety procedures and practices * Attend and successfully complete online and classroom training assignments * Develops working knowledge of our industry, products and customers * Learns sales skills by completing sales training program * Develop and maintain positive work habits that are conducive to sales and profitability growth * Observes sales process by traveling with existing account managers to attend sales and service calls * Practices sales process by calling on existing and then new accounts; adhering to established sales steps * Develops basic knowledge and understanding of financial accounting terms and principals including Gross Margin, Gross Margin %, Operating Income, and EBITDA Demonstrate practical application of knowledge and skills (50%) * Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers * Develop and execute plans to maintain and grow the existing customer base * Actively reviews and manages existing customer Accounts Receivable balances to help minimize Airgas working capital investment and financial risk * Establish and maintain clear and consistent lines of communication with internal departments relative to customer successes, customer failures, new customer developments and other customer specific information * Develop and execute plans to improve Airgas market share within the assigned sales territory * Prepare and deliver effective sales presentations and proposals to prospective customers * Works closely with local Branch Managers to assist in promoting sales and customer management through retail store locations within assigned geographical area * Qualifies and pursues sales leads from other parts of the Airgas organization * Keeps local, regional and national Airgas management informed of territory performance, personal performance and market trends through: * Development and submission of an annual sales plan for the assigned territory * Regular and on time submission of required sales and activity reports, including itineraries, call reports, "Hot" prospect lists, account wins and losses and other information as required * Assists customers in their compliance and training with industry safety standards relating to the products and services that Airgas delivers * Special projects and other duties as assigned Required Education & Experience: * Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field is preferred.
