ABOUT THIS POSITION PURPOSE OF POSITION: Responsible for the successful operation of a complete commercial grade in-house printing facility for the corporation. Responsibility and areas of concentration require close communication and coordination with all facets of the organization – National Marketing, Executive Team, I.T., Accounting, Product Management, HR, Claims and Customer Service. Manages resolution of all operation issues relating to day-to-day distribution of services from these units: Graphics, Printshop, Fulfillment and Shipping . Manages day-to-day art design, printing and production and fulfillment issues and problems. Ensures issues are followed up and a resolution is found. Coordinates special projects, some that require last minute critical deadlines. Directly supervises Printers, Graphic Designers and Production area. SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES: 1. Manages and maintains a $1 Million in-house printing operation to meet the core needs of the corporation. Includes a Shinohara four color press, high speed color digital press, direct to plate processor system, and wide format printing system. 2. Consistently measures and evaluates employees based on established goals and objectives for individual positions. Meets with employees to provide feedback and guidance. Completes performance evaluations, disciplinary reports and salary administration for the personnel as per Company guidelines. 3. Performs project analysis to determine feasibility and cost benefit of producing in-house versus outsourcing given time constraints, production requirements and existing print jobs. Makes recommendations for layout and production requirements to allow for printing in-house and cost savings. 4. Print coordination with outside vendors for accurate production of artwork. Coordinate and oversee printing process; do on-site press checks and ensure that printing, assembly and delivery of all jobs meet the highest standards of quality and work with the printer to ensure timely and on budget products. 5. Manages and monitors corporate forms. Maintains form control numbers and system for tracking. Responsible for development of library of forms and agency announcements for future audits. 6. Coordinates projects and personnel to ensure that schedules are maintained and deadlines are met. 7. Brand Management – develops and deploys the Company's brand management strategy. Controls activity of all corporate forms to include design, printing, storage and distribution. Ensures Company's trademarks, logos, and guidelines are within corporate standards and meets Department of Insurance standards. 8. Responsible for achieving increasing levels of quality through innovation. 9. Manages/forecasts budgets associated with the printshop team. 10. Develops, implements and directs equipment preventative maintenance programs and safety programs. 11. Manages ordering and disbursements of company checks and drafts. Maintains audit system. 12. Maintains an efficient means to receive and distribute all company materials including those in the fulfillment operation. Requires completion through Graphics and Printshop. Must coordinate with National Marketing, Product Management, Claims Training and other internal customers for specifications to ensure completion and shipping meets required deadlines. 13. Builds and fosters cross-departmental Sr. leader relationships. 14. Responsible for developing and implementing a strategy to engage internal customers with printshop services. Includes a needs assessment and communication of items available to the internal customer today and plans for future fulfillment of additional needs. 15. Ensures all equipment is maintained in good working condition. Monitors weekly maintenance inspections, coordinates and schedules vendors to do repairs/maintenance in off-peak times to minimize down time. 16. Ensures compliance with all Health, Safety and Environmental regulatory requirements including, but not limited to proper permitting, licenses and employee training. 17. Monitors space utilization/layout and maximizing usage/making recommendations. 18. Assists in competitive bidding and negotiation on equipment with vendors and on promotional/advertising items. 19. Must have regular predictable attendance. 20. Performs all other duties as assigned WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: INTERNAL: Interacts with all departments. EXTERNAL: Outside vendors, policyholders and agents. SUPERVISION EXERCISED: Direct supervision of Printing Staff, Graphic Designers and Fulfillment team. SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND/OR SKILL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Five to Eight (5-8) years previous supervisory experience in a similar position. 2. Knowledge of printing operations to include design, print equipment and outside vendors available to obtain desired results required. 3. Knowledge of Company and Department of Insurance rules and regulations pertaining to agency forms preferred. 4. Knowledge of OSHA rules and guidelines. 5. Experience working in a w printshop facility preferred. 6. Special attention to detail. 7. Strong presentation and communication skills with ability to interact with executives, senior managers, technical experts and customers. 8. Bachelors degree required, Marketing or Business preferred. SPECIAL DEMANDS OR WORKING CONDITIONS: 1. Must meet tight, critical deadlines and be able to work overtime on short notice. 2. Frequent stooping and bending – constant walking. 3. Industrial Maintenance Technician - McCalla, AL Join a team recognized for leadership, innovation and diversity Intelligrated, now part of Honeywell is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for our growing team! Industrial Maintenance Technician ((CST) The Industrial Maintenance Technician will operate within our customer's facilities performing the maintenance function per the Intelligrated contract. The Industrial Maintenance Technician is critical to the smooth operation of our customer's distribution centers and will be required to perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of our customer's various material handling systems. The Customer Service Technician will take the initiative to coordinate with other departments the activities required for the safe and satisfactory completion of any job tasks. The Customer Service Technician will represent Intelligrated on site and will also need to follow our customer's guidelines for general work practices outlined on site. Assists other Customer Service Technicians in the repair and maintenance of equipment Completes work orders, records, logs and other written or computer-based documents according to established procedures Diagnoses mechanical and electrical problems using technical drawings (e.g., blueprints, electronic/mechanical schematics) and diagnostic tools (e.g. multi-meter, laptop) Operates material handling equipment, battery equipment, moving machinery, and other powered equipment; utilizes TCPiP as a troubleshooting/setup tool Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment (e.g., pneumatic systems, material handling equipment, hydraulic equipment, dock equipment, electronic and electrical equipment, etc.) according to safety and quality procedures Troubleshoots and repairs complex electrical/electronic problems with equipment, networks, PC logic controls, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and external Input/Output (I/O) devices where the repair is not immediately visible or obvious Assists in the development of specific technical and training documentation; assists in the development of a Technical Support Help Desk/Troubleshooting Guide Provides resolutions to mechanical, technical/controls issues; documents all information relating to customer support issues in CMMS and Dashboard database; utilizes resources in other departments (when necessary) to expedite the resolution of conveyor related issues Provides information to the Customer Service Department and other members of management to enhance Customer Service success Follows up with customers and other departments to ensure issues have been resolved Participates in cleaning the conveyor systems and part cage as appropriate Maintains inventory of company supplied tools Completes appropriate paperwork in a timely manner Adheres to all department and company standards, operating procedures and safety requirements while contributing to improvement May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned 10 Perform troubleshooting 30 Equipment repair and cleaning 50 Preventive maintenance 10 Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems You Must Have: High School diploma or GED is required 2-4 Mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience required, (Sr level 5+ yrs.) 2-4 Electrical troubleshooting and repair experience required, (Sr. level 5+ yrs.) MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) Shift work may be required. We Prefer: Material handling experience in Conveyor, sortation, palletizers, and robotics is a plus.
