Participates in local tourism functions, activities and events. Develops and implements initiatives to encourage local industry participation in activities and events at the Welcome Center. Attends meetings and seminars as required. Provides input to the manager of the State Welcome Centers programs regarding the effectiveness of policies and procedures. Compiles and submits daily, weekly, and monthly reports in accordance with established policies and procedures. Compiles and submits statistical and demographic information to the state Welcome Center bureau office. Directs the maintenance of necessary inventories and attendance records. Coordinates security and maintenance operations in conjunction with the Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT). Performs related or similar duties as required or assigned. OR Education: An Associate's Degree from an accredited two-year college; AND Experience: Four (4) years of work related experience.
