The Role: The Security Manager is responsible for the overall management of the security department to ensure guest, employee, artist and venue safety. Also control's cost and insures total guest satisfaction by guarding, patrolling, monitoring the premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules. Job Functions: * Work in conjunction with the General Manager and Operations Manager to ensure compliance with all policies and procedures that relate to the security department as well as local, state and federal laws and regulations. * Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises. * Moves throughout the venue and all areas to visually monitor and take corrective action when needed. * Provides guidance and improvement and implements necessary adjustments. * Investigates and resolves security complaints. Interacts positively with guests * Circulate among visitors, patrons, or employees to preserve order and protect property. * Writes reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences. * Interviews, selects, trains, supervises, counsels and disciplines security staff for the efficient operation of the security department. * Organizes and conducts meetings and communicates pertinent information to the staff. Schedules and directs staff in their work assignments. * Regularly reviews and evaluates the department and recommends and implements new operational policies and procedures when necessary. Qualifications: * High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. * At least 2 yrs experience in a similar role. For more information, please visit: https://www.siemens.com/us/en/home/company/about/businesses/building-technologies.html Job Description: Job Description: Reporting to the Service Operations Supervisor, this position provides technical service to customer Fire Safety systems including technical support during the installation and commissioning of new or expanded systems. * Coordinates with contractors in the process of installation of systems sold by a branch office. * Performs system commissioning on systems including loading software programs and implementing, modifications as necessary. Conducts testing and inspects systems under maintenance agreements. Responds and carries out to completion any troubleshooting and repairs to assigned customer systems. Identifies code issues and non-conformance issues. Makes recommendations regarding both systems, installations and service contract facilities. Conducts on-going system operation training for end user customers. * Ensures company-owned test equipment and installation equipment is in proper working order. Returns equipment in need of repair or calibration to the office in a timely manner. * Reports daily on activities completed, deferred, requiring further action or material. Participates in On-Call assignments/ schedules as required. * Acts as a mentor and provides on-the-job training to lower level Field Service Technicians as assigned. * Coordinates with contractors in the process of installation of systems sold by a branch office. Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Education: * A.S. degree in Electronics or related field, or equivalent experience in the installation and maintenance of low voltage electronic systems. * 5+ years in the installation and maintenance of Fire Safety Products. * NICET Certification (National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technology) NICET II Minimum / NICET III Preferred * Strong customer service skills. Good verbal and written communications skills. Skilled in the PC applications and in the use of word processing and spreadsheet programs. Ability to lift seventy-five (75) pounds unassisted. * Individual must possess a valid Driver's license in good standing and must be at least 21 years of age in order to participate in the required Siemens vehicle plan * LI-GEP
