What you will do Working within a complex customer and/or client and strong account management environment, the Strategic Account Support Manager, in collaboration with and under the direction of Sales Management and/or the designated National Account Manager(s) (NAM), is responsible for maintaining strong relationships, delivering superior customer service, developing and expanding existing or target customer(s) and as required, initiating and completing sales of Tyco products and services, while providing support to the designated NAM in his/her sales efforts. This person works with and supports one to three SAMs/NAMs who manage larger existing Strategic/National Accounts. As required, the incumbent will make contributions to the strategic business plan for assigned customers and with account leadership will implement the strategic and tactical initiatives, vision and goals. How you will do it * Working within a complex customer/client and strong account management environment, the Strategic Account Support Manager, in collaboration with and under the direction of Sales Management and/or the designated National Account Manager(s) ("Nam's"), is responsible for maintaining strong relationships, delivering consistent superior customer service, developing and expanding existing or target customer(s). * Personally contacts assigned customers in person and by phone, to establish and maintain a high level of quality and timely service for maximum retention. * Under the direction of Sales Management and/or the National Account Manager, initiates and completes sales of Tyco products and services while providing support to the designated National Account Manager in his/her sales efforts for the target account(s). * In collaboration with Sales Management and the designated National Account Manager, develops and implements account penetration plans and activities to achieve targeted sales growth for National Accounts at a rate and profit margin consistent with the strategic business plan. Plan is to include but is not limited to, customer parent-child relationships; current state of account- issues/pain points; current solutions, technologies and products as well as opportunities for new service offerings; and competitor activities. * Develops and expands existing or target Strategic Customer(s) for assigned accounts and or geographical areas. * Targets to spend 25% of time prospecting for new accounts. What we look for * 4-Year College Degree in Sales/Marketing or other related field preferred * Minimum of three (3) years of sales of electronic security or related equipment or high level sales support within a complex sales and account management environment. Demonstrated strategic and/or tactical business planning. * Proven ability to interact effectively with executive level and industry/segment professional organizations both internally and externally. * Entrepreneurial attitude, leadership ability and ability to be a team player at all levels. * Ability to comprehend, develop and effectively execute business plans, account portfolio management, and opportunity analyses. * Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents (terms and conditions, technical procedures, etc.). * Excellent oral, written and presentation skills, with the ability to make presentations to senior level executives. * Strong business acumen and ability to quickly develop a solid understanding of sales to the applicable vertical market customer(s). * Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. By demonstrating retail products you could make an impact on how local consumers buy, shop and share products. Our Events Specialists interact with retail customers and are brand ambassadors for our clients through in-store demonstration events by providing fun and engaging product presentations and generating brand awareness. This is a part time position with a weekly average of 24 hours/week. If providing consumers with the opportunity to see, taste and purchase the latest or improved products appeals to you, come and join the CROSSMARK Team! Responsibilities * The Events Specialist is responsible for completing in-store food and non-food presentations by serving, demonstrating, and selling products in a fun, friendly and engaging manner. * Properly set up and prepare events cart and use small appliances to prepare and serve food samples. * Proactively engage, interact, and sell products to the consumer in a positive and friendly manner. * Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the requirements of the job. Tattoos must not be visible while the associate is engaged in their work assignments. * Maintain a clean, sterile and safe work station using cleaning supplies. * Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives. * Assists with preparation for client visits and completes audit corrections. * Accurately prepares and submits all on-line requirements on the same day as Event execution. Qualifications * High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Basic computer and internet skills and daily access to a PC with internet and email access. * Specialized knowledge, license, etc.: Food Safety Training & Protocol provided; Local Food Handlers permit may be required. * Physical demands: stand up to 3 hours at a time without a break; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms (including reaching overhead); talk and hear; visual ability to read instructions and perform events; stoop; kneel; crouch; climb (including use of a 6' ladder); balance; lift and carry up to 25 pounds (including occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds); push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart weighing up to 300 pounds fully laden with appliances, supplies and product; prepare foods and beverages using the required appliances, such as cooking utensils, knives, convection oven, fryer, coffee maker, electric fryer, microwaves and hot oils; be in contact with cleaning supplies. Depending on club location you may also be required to work with the following products: * Orange Juicer: demos require routinely lifting of up to 50 pounds * Pineapple Corer: equipment contains sharp edges * Tortilla Maker: exposure to heated and pressurized equipment This role is not expected to exceed more than 25 hours per week, although the company does maintain the discretion to change the role based on the needs of the business and/or the client.
